We have a compiled a list of all the dazzling pantomimes and Christmas shows happening this festive season in and around Cheshire.

16th November – 7th January  


Join Cinderella as she transforms from rags to riches and outwits her very Ugly Sisters in this magical pantomime. Actor and singer Duncan James stars as the handsome Prince Charming and I’d Do Anything winner Jodie Prenger is on stage as the Fairy Godmother.

Elf the Musical

The movie Elf has become a modern classic for Christmas family viewing, and there is now a stage adaptation of the 2003 film. Starring TV and West End ‘Superstar’ Ben Forster reprising his role as Buddy alongside Liz McClarnon as Jovie, Louis Emerick as Santa Claus, Joe McGann as Walter and Jessica Martin as Emily Hobbs.

The Everyman Rock 'n' Roll panto The Little Mermaid

An adaptation of the Little Mermaid comes to the Everyman Theatre this festive season with a hilarious comical twist, from writers Sarah A Nixon and Mark Chatterton. Legendary comedy duo Adam Keast and Francis Tucker take centre stage accompanied by a live band. Be prepared for a night full of laughter, cheering, and the ‘beast’ panto around.

The Secret Seven

Storyhouse will celebrate its first Christmas with the world’s first ever stage adaptation of Enid Blyton’s beloved book, The Secret Seven. Artistic director, Alex Clifton, secured the rights after meeting with publisher Hachette – who own the Blyton estate – to pitch the idea of the Storyhouse project running December 1 to January 14.

This glittering production stars local comedian Ted Robbins as the hilarious Widow Twanky alongside Brian Capron of Coronation Street as the evil Abanazar. This lively pantomime is sure to provide plenty of laughs for the family.

Wizard of Oz

KD Theatre Productions present this spectacular pantomime version of L. Frank Baum’s classic story, Wizard of Oz. Packed with jokes, songs and dance routines, join Dorothy on her magical adventure from Kansas to the Land of Oz as she tries to find her way home with the help of some new friends.

Sleeping Beauty

Benidorm actress Crissy Rock will star in this performance of Sleeping Beauty as Fairy Nuff, and will be joined on stage by Rebecca Lake as Princess Aurora in the classic fairytale of true love’s kiss.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Comedy legends Cannon and Ball will lead the cast of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This ever-popular  traditional tale will be brought to life with comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and some stunning special effects.
