Children’s charity raises £40,000

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust raised a record-breaking £40,000 at their 18th annual golf day.

The Millington-based charity held the event at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford. 29 teams enjoyed a day of golf followed by a dinner in the evening.

Pippa Watton, events organiser at CAFT, said: ‘We were blown away to raise a record-breaking amount this year, with profits ensuring we can provide free holidays at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, bringing fun to thousands of young children in need.’
