Sky-high celebration in the Concorde Conference Centre

Employees of the former Britannia Airways airline came together on a plane once more at a special reunion ball held at the Concorde Conference Centre at Manchester Airport. Over 120 former colleagues attended, and after a red carpet entrance through a security scanner, they enjoyed a prosecco drinks reception and a tour of the famous aircraft.

Guests then sat down to dinner under Concorde’s wings before dancing the night away.

Organisers Kate Tyrer and Denise Wilmott said: ‘With only a few, short months’ notice so many guests assembled, many coming over from far away shores. It really was a spectacular evening and clearly demonstrated the comradeship that made this airline so very special.’
