Cultivating achievements

Middlewich Young Farmers’ Club held its annual awards and dinner dance evening at Vale Royal Abbey in Whitegate. Over 150 guests enjoyed a three course meal, which included tableside entertainment from a magician, followed by speeches and the awards. The evening was completed with a disco and a raffle which raised funds towards club activities.

Chairman of Middlewich Young Farmers’ Club, Warwick Gerber, said: ‘The Chairlady and Cheshire Dairy Queen, Lisa Oakes, and I would like to thank all who attended to celebrate the year’s achievements and reward those who have contributed so much time and effort. Congratulations to Jack Field who was awarded the male member of the year title and Bella Oakes who was awarded female member of the year.’
