Pop fans travelled back in time for the Rewind Festival North at Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield

From Bananarama’s classic pop tunes to the rocking sounds of the Boomtown Rats, crowds spent a weekend immersed in the music of the 1980s at the Rewind Festival North, at Capesthorne Hall, in Siddington, Macclesfield.

Many visitors donned throwback outfits and enjoyed camping in the stately home’s grounds before making their way to the main stage to watch acts that were big in the 80s. Among the stars were Heather Small, The Human League, Kid Creole, Belinda Carlisle and The Sugarhill Gang.

The festival, which attracted thousands of visitors from around the country, was one of three Rewind events taking place this summer.
