Archant

Our readers across Cheshire capture a waterway that is close to home for many of us in the county

The River Weaver is around 50 miles in length and snakes through West Cheshire from its source in the Peckforton Hills all the way to the River Mersey.

Along its route is passes by many significant Cheshire settlements including Nantwich, Winsford, Northwich, Acton Bridge and Frodsham.

It also links to a few of the major waterways including the Trent and Mersey and Shropshire Union Canals, it also flows past the Anderton Boat Lift near Northwich.

Why don’t you upload your images of the River Weaver to the reader photo gallery?
