It’s clear to see why the Celtic translation of Lymm is a “place of running water”.

Lymm is a pretty and historic village that is just six miles from the centre of Warrington and is easily accessible from the M6 and M56 motorways.

A water theme flows through the village as the Bridgewater Canal passes through it and Lymm Dam is a hot spot for people to kick back and relax in peaceful surroundings.

In the centre of the village, Lymm Cross is a Grade I listed structure which dates from the early to middle 17th Century with a major restoration in 1897.

Why don’t you upload your images of Lymm to the reader photo gallery?
