Most people head to the coast or Snowdonia to take shots of North Wales, but Llangollen has plenty to offer the keen photographer.

North Wales has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to beautiful locations that can be captured on camera. There’s iconic peaks of Snowdonia, and miles of stunning coastlines.

But the quaint little town of Llangollen situated on the River Dee and on the edge of the Berwyn mountains can more than hold its own with its more popular neighbours.

There are plenty of places to visit, the bridge allows fanastic views of the river, to the north Castell Dinas Bran has views far and wide, and a journey on the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway is a must.

Why don’t you upload your images of Llangollen to the reader photo gallery?

All uploaded photos will be entered into our 2016 Cheshire Life reader photo competition and we feature the best ones in the magazine every month.
