The Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank Observatory is one of the most iconic sights in the Cheshire countryside.
Built in 1957, it became a listed building in 1988 and is named after Sir Bernard Lovell, the first director of Jodrell Bank Observatory.
The sheer scale and clear geometric lines of the design make it an ideal silhouette to position in front of a colourful Cheshire sunset.
