Diana in Art

THE life of Diana, Princess of Wales, whose titles included Countess of Chester, is celebrated in a new book of artwork inspired by and dedicated to one of the great icons of the 20th century.

Compiled by Mem Mehmet, Diana In Art www.dianainart.com is a unique tribute to the life and work of Princess Diana. Every stage of her fascinating life is celebrated by paintings and drawings of more than 100 artists from around the world.

As princess, mother, fashion leader, media cover girl and ambassador of good causes, she captured the imagination and devotion of people around the world, inspiring an extensive community of artists to portray her in their work.

Many of the paintings are timeless classic portraits in oils and acrylics, showing Diana’s style and grace. Others have an element of surprise and controversy making them illuminating and thought-provoking.

Each image is accompanied by quotes from those who knew Diana: world leaders, writers, musicians, entertainers, photographers, designers, her family and friends.

This collection of beautiful, iconic, at times surreal but always revealing works of art combine to make Diana In Art a tribute to an extraordinary woman whose inspiration and legacy lives on today.
