Cheshire is about to become a land of merriment, why not pick up a host of magical gifts at local markets, fairs and shopping events?

1st – 2nd November

Wirral Bazaar

The Wirral Bazaar will be returning to Thornton Manor for a two day Christmas shopping extravaganza. There will be a collection of over sixty handpicked stalls supplying all of the best and most unique Christmas gifts.  All of the proceeds raised at the fair will go directly to North West Cancer research.

7th – 8th November

The Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular sponsorship by Boodles 

The hugely popular annual Christmas Shopping event is held in the grounds of stunning Arley Hall and is in aid of The Joshua Tree, a local charity supporting families affected by childhood cancer.

Once again Piccolinos will be serving delicious festive bubbles to visitors on the evening of the 7th November. Visitors will be able to enjoy over 70 handpicked stalls from all over the UK offering a wide variety of stunning gifts and ideas for Christmas.  

On the evening of Tuesday 7th November there is a festive bubbles welcome reception and evening shopping from 6pm until 10pm. Tickets are £12 in advance/ £15 on the night which includes a glass of fizz.

The daytime event on Wednesday 8th November is from 9.30am until 4pm and tickets are £7.50 on the door. 

The entire cost of your ticket plus 10% of everything you spend at the Fair will go directly to the charity so Christmas shopping can be enjoyed in the knowledge that it is supporting a fantastic cause.

Manchester Christmas Markets

The Manchester Christmas Markets are arguably one of the most popular festive market destinations in the country, attracting visitors from across the UK year on year. They have become a popular leisure destination as well as a hub for some magical Christmas retail therapy. There will be nearly three hundred and fifty unique festooned stalls and chalets that will span throughout the city for you to explore offering a range of International and local produce and goods. The markets have a truly international twist, as you can fill up your bellies with traditional German Beer, Hungarian goulash, Spanish paella or a good old-fashioned traditional hog roast.

14th – 15th November

LoveChristmas Fair

LoveChristmas is a unique charity Christmas fair with every penny raised going towards Tusk and Hospice of the Good Shepherd. A range of exciting independent UK boutiques, including some old favourites and some new faces, will be offering a selection of stylish and original products with a festive twist. LoveChristmas Drinks & Shopping Evening takes place on the 14th, followed by the LoveChristmas Daytime Fair on the 15th.

16th November – 20th December

Chester Christmas Markets

The picturesque city of Chester will once again be hosting their rustic, festive Christmas market located in the heart of the city. Chester will be transformed into a winter wonderland with seventy traditional wooden chalets stocking an abundance of Christmassy surprises including local and regional products, unique handmade crafts and gifts, clothing and much more. The food and drink on offer at the markets is a particular highlight each year as you can sip on some warming mulled wine whilst browsing the stalls or even pop into The Real Ale Bar.

17th November – 18th November

Christmas Arts & Crafts Market at Manchester Cathedral

For one weekend only, Manchester Cathedral will host its first Christmas Arts & Crafts Market, when over 75 artists and makers gather together under the roof of one of the city’s finest buildings to bring you a huge selection of the best Christmas presents in town.

Liverpool Christmas Market

Liverpool's Christmas Market returns to St George's Plateau outside of the spectacular St George's Hall with over 50 traditional German market stalls as well as ice rink and giant ferris wheel also set up in the city centre.

Sandbach Christmas Market

The Sandbach Christmas Market and Late Night Shopping Event is the perfect way to get into the festive spirits. More than 100 stalls will be ain place, along with all the Town Centre shops offering late night shopping and Little Cheshire Fairs set up in the Town Hall there is a wealth of goods on offer.

2nd - 3rd December

Knutsford Christmas Markets

The Knutsford Christmas Market will be returning again for another year this December, with over one hundred traders selling magical Christmas goodies. The two day seasonal bonanza across the first weekend of December will be jam packed full of everything Christmas and coincides with the Christmas Lights Switch On and Reindeer Parade on the Saturday.

2nd December

South Cheshire Christmas Artisan Market

The designer makers of Etsy South Cheshire are returning to Reaseheath College for their second annual Etsy Made Local Christmas Artisan Market. There will be over 65 makers displaying their wares, and any gifts purchased on the day will be wrapped at the complimentary gift wrapping station. Alongside the market, Reaseheath students will be selling items they have grown or made at the college including Christmas trees, poinsettias, cheeses, Christmas cakes and brandy butter.

Northwich Artisan Christmas Market

The Northwich Artisan Christmas Market is all about one thing…Christmassy food! The quality of food at the Nortwich Artisan Market is renowned for its high standard so will be the perfect place to purchase some Christmas treats that you wouldn’t find on the supermarket shelves. Be tempted by an array of seasonal and delicious mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas puddings. You definitely wont be going home empty handed from these markets.

Wilmslow Artisan Christmas Market
