We’ve selected 12 Christmas inspired cocktails to help you celebrate the festivities in style.

Christmas tis the season to indulge in all things festive, including plenty of celebratory drinks. It seems that Manchester’s bar scene is also getting into the festive spirit, as many of them have introduced special Christmas cocktails to help you celebrate the holiday season in style.

We’ve put together a short guide of Manchester’s best seasonal tipples at some of the city’s best bars.

‘Anise Navidad’ at Cottonopolis

Christmas has officially arrived at Cottonopolis with their special festive cocktail addition, Anise Navidad. This sweet festive tipple is made up of vanilla vodka, almond, PX Sherry, lemon and anise/cinnamon syrup.

‘Mulled Sloe Gin’ at The Botanist

This Christmas, the Botanist are serving up Christmas warmers to indulge in after a hard days shopping, including their mulled sloe gin. Monin syrup, sloe gin, orange, cinnamon and cranberry all come together to make a cup full of festive deliciousness.

‘Mulled Sangria’ at El Gato Negro

Add a festive twist to a classic Spanish tipple with El Gato Negro’s deliciously warming mulled sangria. The sangria is made up of classic Spanish brandy, sweet vermouth, mulled spice syrup, cranberry juice and red wine.

‘Cranble’ at Hispi, Didsbury

HISPI is the new bistro that has taken Didsbury by storm, so why not pay a visit this Christmas season and try their festive Cranble cocktail. A Cranble is the perfect cocktail for gin lovers as it’s made up of cranberry infused gin, lemon, sugar syrup and creme de mure all garnished with cranberries soaked in gin.

‘Tin of Roses’ at Cloud 23

Christmas isn’t complete without a tin of roses so why not sample Cloud 23’s take on everybody’s favourite festive chocolates with their very own Tin of Roses cocktail. Delicious cocoa infused Havana 3 with Cointreau, Cherry Brandy and Walnut make up this quirky cocktail.

‘Gin-Gerbread’ at The Alchemist

The Alchemist has a reputation for serving up some of the best and most extravagant cocktails in Manchester, and their special winter cocktail ‘Gin-Gerbread’ is the perfect winter warmer. Made up of gin, spicy gingerbread, apple, banana, lime and a biscuit on the side, the ‘Gin-Gerbread’ cocktail is even served in a dainty little teacup and saucer.

‘SCHNOWBALL’ at Albert’s Schloss

Getting into the Christmas spirit at Albert Schloss is easy with the introduction of their new festive Christmas cocktail, Schnowball. Made up of Advocaat, lime, Prosecco and finished off with fresh mint, a Schnowball is the perfect après work drink.

‘Spiced Vanilla Sling’ at Australasia

Australasia know how to creating classic cocktails with their signature asian twist and their Spiced Vanilla Sling cocktail is the perfect alternative Christmas tipple. Vanilla vodka, Limoncello, vanilla syrup, lemon juice, apple juice and fresh green apple all make up this seasonal favourite.

‘Paradise Lost’ at The Whiskey Jar

Lose yourself in paradise this festive season with a fizzy, fruity wonder from The Whiskey Jar. Their bubbly ‘Paradise Lost cocktail is the perfect celebratory drink as it’s made up of Irish whisky (Bushmills Blackbush), Prosecco, refreshing pomegranate and finished with pomegranate seeds.
