Arley Hall held a festive Shopping Spectacular event in aid of The Seashell Trust for the fourth year, raising around £24,000. Set up in 1991 by a committee including Lady Ashbrook, the Christmas shopping extravaganza has always supported local charities. The fair featured around 60 hand-picked stalls selling a range of gifts and delicious food. VIP guests enjoyed champagne and canapés on arrival before perusing the stands.

Fireplaces by Design charity evening

Warrington business, Fireplaces by Design, held a charity evening in aid of St Rocco’s Hospice. A raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses including prosecco from Corks Out and designer cushions from Zoffany, helped to raise money for the Warrington hospice. Guests were treated to delicacies from Efes Greek and Indian restaurant before being entertained by magician Darren O’Neill and a live rock band.
