Also known as Catholic pie or Friday pie, and is an age-old dish, from around the Chorley and Preston area or, for the non-Lancastrians, a potato pie.

There is no substitute for good quality beef from your butcher or local farm shop for this classic favourite.



It may well be a stereotype, but if you live in the north then you more than likely appreciate a good pie.
