The Fox & Hounds at Sproston is the must visit pub in Cheshire for those looking for great food, ales & wine, cosy surroundings and a friendly welcome.

Promotional Feature

Recently refurbished to the highest standard the Fox & Hounds has been true to its name and have tastefully created a welcoming pub that’s both fresh and modern combined with the traditional quirkiness of a hunting lodge.

A warm welcome is guaranteed, headed by Mark Huntley who recently took the reigns following 7 years as the GM of one of the Counties most well know Country hotels. Marks experience and leadership is a fantastic addition to the team and ensures first class customer service. Heading the kitchen is head chef Michael Carter who has over 32 years in the industry working in Michelin star restaurants, award winning Cheshire pubs in addition to being the menu development manager for a large luxury pub group.

The creative menu offers an exquisite choice of traditional and new gastro pub food that will not disappoint. Steaks are sourced from local farms and are 28 day aged. The fox & Hounds are proud to support local suppliers and this evident throughout the menu. An extensive wine selection to choose from with beers and ales from Marstons and the local Micro Brewery.

Sunday lunches are extremely popular at The Fox and Hounds with delicious Prime Roast Sirloin of Beef, Whole Roast Chicken for two to share with all the trimmings and other menu highlights such as the famous 36oz Toma Hawk steak not for the faint hearted!

A true depiction of a Cheshire country pub where couples, families, parties and private functions will receive the same welcome.

With an outside Terrace with tables and a lovely wooden children’s play area why not visit the Fox and hounds today.
