The Alderley Restaurant,
The Alderley Edge Hotel, Macclesfield Road,
Alderley Edge, SK9 7BJ.
01625 583033

This is my favourite restaurant. In 25 years of dining there I have never had a poor meal, in fact, the service has always been to their very high standard. The phrase I would associate them with would be consistently high quality. My favourite dish at The Alderley Edge is lamb cooked three different ways. Last Christmas the family had a traditional Christmas lunch there and it was first class.

Fosters Fish and Chip Shop
4 Chorley Hall Lane, Alderley Edge, SK9 7EU

This has to be the best fish and chips I have ever had and their popularity is reflected in the long queues!

The Bengal Tiger Lily,
Congleton Road, Nether Alderley,
SK10 4TD
Tel: 01625 890379

A warm welcome is always on the cards, the food and choice is excellent together with helpful staff, particularly when we have the grandchildren with us.

Greens Restaurant,
43 Lapwing Lane West Didsbury, Manchester M20 2NT
0161 434 4259

We have been going to this vegetarian restaurant for many years and we love the ambience, the clientele and the service together with excellent food. Im not a vegetarian, although my wife, Dianne is, but I could not recommend the food more highly. Diannes favourite dish at Greens is herb bangers and mash.

Tangs Restaurant,
19 Church Road, Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire,
SK8 7JD
0161 485 3388

Years ago I was recommended this Chinese restaurant by a global businessman who told me:It is the best Chinese restaurant in the world. I still have many yet to try but I have an open mind. We go there regularly and my favourite dish at Tangs is salt and pepper pork chop - I have that virtually every time!
