Gardener’s Cottage, Tatton Park

The Gardener’s Cottage in Tatton Park’s Stableyard is a favourite for visitors to Knutsford. The Egerton’s Afternoon Tea has traditional finger sandwiches and a wide selection of home baked cakes and pastries that include: fruit seasonal fruit tart, white chocolate and raspberry cone and mini carrot cake.

The regular tea costs £16.95 per person and you can also add a glass of prosecco for an extra £3 or champagne for an additional £8.

Victoriana Tearooms

This quaint tea room on King Street in the heart of Knutsford serves up a Victoriana Style Afternoon Tea. This includes finger sandwiches and scones and a choice of their homemade cakes.

They have a wide selection of teas from around the world. The regular afternoon tea costs £13.95 and you can add champagne for an extra £4, Booking is advisable on weekends.

Brasserie Blanc

Raymond Blanc’s venture into Knutsford has been a success since its opening in 2016. The brasserie is based at the at Royal George Building on Regent Street.

The French are famous for their expertise in patisserie and Brasserie Blanc’s serving is a celebration of that. It includes: Lemon Drizzle Cake, Chocolate Mousse Delice and Madeleines au Chocolat. Regular afternoon tea costs £17.50, to get the full French experience, you can upgrade with champagne at £25.

The Mere Golf Resort & Spa

There are many reasons to visit The Mere even if you aren’t a golfer. The spa facilities and the various eateries housed within the hotel make this a great place to stay when visiting the area.

The Mere Afternoon Tea is served in the Lobby Lounge and includes the bespoke Mere Grey blend created by tea from The Manor. Regular afternoon tea costs £19.95 person and you can also upgrade with champagne or prosecco.

Cottons Hotel & Spa

The Cottons Hotel & Spa is located on the outskirts of Knutsford and is another popular destination for those visiting the area.

The Tatton afternoon tea cost £19.95 and includes artisan macaroons, glazed strawberry tart and Belgian chocolate orange mousse. You can upgrade with prosecco at £23.95 or champagne at £27.95.

Jacobs of Knutsford

The newest addition to the Knutsford food scene certainly has pedigree, chef patron Jefferson Green aims ‘to cook great food with plenty of love’.

They have a Traditional Afternoon Tea that includes a selection of cakes, lemon scones and finger sandwiches for £18.95. You can add Prosecco or Gin Cocktail for an extra £5. Advance booking only.
