Contemporary Chinese restaurant Tattu is calling time on those January blues with a host of special events lined up for February from Valentine’s Day through to a week-long celebration for Chinese New Year.
For the lovers, Tattu’s Valentine’s Day menu has been inspired by three romantic tales from Chinese folklore. A decadent three-course sharing menu is available all day on Wednesday 14th February featuring dishes such as chicken Xiao Long Bao filled with red Thai curry, shallots and coconut, a honey-soy ribeye with sesame and truffle mushroom and sweet mango chicken served with pineapple and yellow bean. Priced £50 per person including a ‘Love Potion’ sharing cocktail for two. £10 deposit required per person.
Chinese New Year
Tattu Restaurants will be welcoming the Year of the Dog with a celebratory sharing menu that takes inspiration from traditional new year’s feasting. Dishes include truffle egg roll with truffled soy, cucumber and aioli, fillet steak with shiitake noodles and a fiery Szechuan sea bass with chilli, Shaoxing wine and garlic. The dessert is a gift of oranges with a zesty orange trifle, chocolate and orange truffle and a refreshing orange sorbet. Priced £50 per person and available for parties of two – eight people from 12th – 19th February.
Tattu Manchester will be welcoming traditional performers on Friday 16th February and Tattu Leeds on Saturday 17th February to provide a real feast for the senses. Book online at www.tattu.co.uk.
